SUCESKA YOUTH CENTRE: A NEW MEETING POINT

The old school of Suceska was recently transformed in a youth centre. This was possible because of the active help of different international NGO’s and, of course, the local population.

A fundraising programme will permit to realize a hostel opened to members of NGO’s, journalists and all people interested in spending sometime and enjoy the possibility offered by a less invasive and more alternative form of tourism called sustainable tourism.

Sofia, an Italian volunteer of “Nema Frontiera” says that thanks to the help of the young generation of the village, the project of a hostel and a youth centre is going on very well. She really noticed the interest of these young people to create something useful for their community and recognises the dynamic and enthusiastic participation of the youngsters which is getting more and more powerful.

The building that was supposed to be a school for over than 600 scholars, but which did the need of hospital during the war, got now a new task: a meeting point for everyone who is interested in getting friendship.
